At the Workplace Injury Commission we have a clear purpose to help Victorian's find a way forward to positively impact the Injured Workers,  Employers, Insurers, the wider Victorian community. Corporate Support puts our people at the centre of the service provide.

Our Work

Corporate Support functions include our Corporate Services team, Strategy and Experience, People and Culture, and the Office of the Chief Executive Officer. Together, these areas partner with our conciliation and arbitration service areas  to ensure we can operate at our best.

Our work is a team effort. No matter your role, each person at the Workplace Injury Commission is integral to our ability to deliver flexible, fair and efficient alternative dispute resolution services.

The Corporate Services function includes IT Support, Finance, Facilities, Risk and Corporate Governance.

  • The Corporate Services teams enable informed decision making and support the Workplace Injury Commission’s strategy to be recognised in delivering a people centric solution that drives operational excellence and efficiency.

Comprised of the Strategic Projects teams, Communications and Change, and Stakeholder Engagement, the Strategy and Experience function contributes towards supporting our people and business growth through delivering advisory and project enhancement services that help ensure strategic goals of the organisation are best positioned to succeed.

  • The Strategy and Experience team maintains standards in accordance with the Acts (Accident Compensation Act 1985 and Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment (Arbitration) Act 2021), whilst optimising the experience of all stakeholders to the dispute resolution process, especially injured workers, which means that practical solutions continue to be at the forefront of our client experience.
